Text and call class action settlements
Open settlements over marketing texts, reminder messages and calls sent without consent, after a stop request, or to numbers on the Do Not Call Registry.
These settlements come from lawsuits under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the federal law that limits marketing texts and calls. Most cover people who got more than one message after replying STOP or while their number was on the National Do Not Call Registry, usually within a set date range. The phone number you got the messages on is often what the claim form asks for. Only file for settlements you qualify for: claim forms are signed under penalty of perjury.

What is a text message or robocall settlement?
It resolves a lawsuit claiming a company sent marketing texts or made calls in a way the Telephone Consumer Protection Act doesn't allow, for example to numbers on the Do Not Call Registry or after people asked it to stop. The company pays into a fund or pays each eligible person, usually without admitting wrongdoing, and a court must approve the deal.
How do I know if I qualify?
Read the class definition on the official settlement website. It names the company, the kind of message, the date range and the condition, such as texts after replying STOP or while your number was on the Do Not Call Registry. Some settlements send notices to numbers in the company's records.
Do I need screenshots of the texts?
Not always. Many claim forms ask for the phone number that got the messages and check it against the company's records. Each card shows what that settlement asks for, and keeping screenshots never hurts.
How do I check if my number was on the Do Not Call Registry?
You can verify a number at donotcall.gov, the official FTC site. Registration is free.
Where do I file?
Only on the official settlement website, and filing is always free. Each card links to our detail page and to the official claim form.
