Privacy class action settlements
Open settlements over website tracking pixels, apps and how online services shared people's data, each checked on its official website.
These settlements come from lawsuits over how websites and apps tracked visitors or shared their data, for example through tracking pixels. Many cover anyone who used a particular site or app during a set period, so check the dates in each class definition. Some ask for an ID from a notice you were emailed. Only file for settlements you qualify for: claim forms are signed under penalty of perjury.

What is a privacy class action settlement?
It resolves a lawsuit claiming a company collected, tracked or shared people's information in a way it shouldn't have, for example through tracking code on a website or app. The company pays into a fund or pays each eligible person, usually without admitting wrongdoing, and a court must approve the deal.
How do I know if I qualify?
Read the class definition on the official settlement website. It says which site, app or service is covered and the date range. Many privacy settlements cover anyone who used the service during that period, while some are limited to people in the company's records.
Do I need proof to file a privacy claim?
Often not, but it varies. Some ask for an ID from your notice email, and some pay more with proof. Each card shows what that settlement asks for.
How much do privacy settlements pay?
Each card shows the payout as the official notice states it. Many are pro rata, so the amount per person depends on how many valid claims are filed.
Where do I file?
Only on the official settlement website, and filing is always free. Each card links to our detail page and to the official claim form.
