Survey Junkie review: our honest test
When we qualified, the surveys were quick. Most cards route to partners that rejected us, though, and building up to the minimum takes a while.
At a glance
| Best for | Short sessions |
|---|---|
| Screen-outs | Very frequent; some partners never accepted us |
| Survey length | Short. Our completed surveys took 3–4 minutes |
| Cash-out | Points cashed out via PayPal, bank transfer or e-gift cards once you reach the minimum |
What we liked
- Completed surveys were short, a few minutes each.
- Surveys routed through Toluna were the most reliable source.
- Second-best results of the four in our evening sessions.
What we didn't
- Many cards route to a marketplace that never accepted us.
- A pre-survey security gate turned away a run of attempts.
- Slow progress toward the cash-out minimum.
- One partner temporarily blocked us from its surveys after a quality check.
How it works
Survey Junkie shows survey cards with a point reward and estimated length. Each one routes to an outside research partner. Screen-outs usually give a token number of points.
Cashing out
Points can be cashed out via PayPal, bank transfer or e-gift cards once you hit the minimum. We hadn't reached the minimum during testing, so we can't speak to payout speed yet.
How we tested
We used one account on each site for about a week in October 2026, with the same household profile on all four. We counted only surveys the site actually credited and checked them against balance changes. We compared how often attempts completed, how long completed surveys took, and what cashing out involved.
