Prime Opinion review: our honest test
Small, steady rewards from a couple of good survey partners, but a security gate rejects many attempts before any question appears.
At a glance
| Best for | Patient users |
|---|---|
| Screen-outs | Very frequent; lowest completion rate of the four |
| Survey length | Short to medium. Ours took a few minutes up to about 10 |
| Cash-out | Low minimum. PayPal and gift card options |
What we liked
- Two partners, SurveyMeasure and Dynata-routed surveys, completed reliably.
- Many quick rejections are honest non-matches (for example, surveys only for employees of very large companies), so little time is wasted.
What we didn't
- A pre-survey security gate rejected many attempts with no completes.
- Some partners ended attempts within seconds as “quality terminations.”
- Lowest completion rate of the four in our testing.
How it works
Prime Opinion lists surveys with their reward and length and routes you to outside partners. Before many surveys, a security check runs and can end the attempt immediately.
Cashing out
Prime Opinion has a low cash-out minimum, with PayPal and gift card options. Our balance was still just short of the minimum when testing ended, so we haven't cashed out and can't rate payout speed.
How we tested
We used one account on each site for about a week in October 2026, with the same household profile on all four. We counted only surveys the site actually credited and checked them against balance changes. We compared how often attempts completed, how long completed surveys took, and what cashing out involved.
FAQ
Why do Prime Opinion surveys end right away?
In our testing, most instant endings came from a security-check gate or from partners with automated quality checks, not from the survey questions.
How do you cash out on Prime Opinion?
Once you reach its low minimum, you can choose PayPal or gift cards.
Which Prime Opinion surveys worked best?
Surveys from SurveyMeasure and Dynata-routed partners completed most often for us.
